Know if an exhibit is real before it reaches the judge.
Upload a screenshot, photo, PDF or audio file. In minutes, Validitas runs multiple AI-detection models and forensic checks, then returns a court-ready PDF report showing what's suspicious and what to request next.
Illustration with fictional data
Mendones v. Cushman & Wakefield (2025). A California case was dismissed after a party submitted an AI-generated witness video as real evidence.
No federal AI-evidence rule yet. Proposed Rule of Evidence 707 has stalled, so judges rely on general authentication standards.
Fakes now take minutes to make. Spotting them, and proving your own evidence is real, falls to counsel.
Upload. Analyze. File.
Built for the moment opposing counsel hands you something that doesn't look right. No forensic background needed.
Upload the exhibit
Drag in screenshots, photos, PDFs, audio or video. Tag the matter and exhibit number so the report is ready to attach.
We run every check
Independent AI-detection models, file metadata, content credentials (C2PA), and consistency checks like timestamps that don't add up.
Download the PDF
A clear finding per file, the specific red flags, and the exact discovery requests to make next, or a one-click referral to an expert.
One PDF you can actually use.
Attach it to a motion, send it to opposing counsel, or hand it to an expert as a starting point.
Multi-model scoring
We never trust a single detector. Every file is scored by independent models side by side.
Plain-English red flags
Specific, checkable findings, not a black-box score.
Authentication checklist
Origin, access, alteration, corroboration: the questions courts ask, answered or flagged.
Next-step requests
Native exports, carrier records, device imaging: the requests that would settle it.
Chain of custody
Every file is hashed on upload, with methods and model versions logged for an expert to testify to.
What you can check
Text screenshots
iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp, social DMs
Photos
Injury, property damage, scene photos
PDFs & docs
Receipts, letters, records, statements
Audio BETA
Voicemails and calls: cloned-voice detection, English & Spanish

Straight answers
Is the report expert testimony?
No. Validitas is a screening and documentation tool. It tells you whether an exhibit warrants a challenge and what to request. When you need testimony, the Expert Network connects you with a credentialed examiner who can use the report as a starting point.
How accurate is it?
No detector is perfect, so we never rely on one. Every report combines several independent models with metadata and consistency checks, shows each score, and states its limitations.
What happens to client files?
Files and reports are encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold, and never used to train AI models. They're automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after upload unless you place them on a litigation hold. Detection providers that analyze a file are contractually limited to processing it for your check and may not keep it. You can delete everything sooner with one click.
What if I need the files longer, or deleted sooner?
Turn on a litigation hold for any matter to keep its files and reports until you release the hold. Or delete a file, a matter, or your whole account at any time; deletion is permanent and confirmed by email. You can download a full export of your reports before anything is deleted.
Should I check my own client's evidence?
Yes. Screening your own exhibits first protects you when the other side claims real evidence is AI-generated.
